The Sanctuary of the Madonna del Feles is located on the slopes of the mountain between Bosentino and Vigolo Vattaro, in the place where a fern was indicated by the Blessed Virgin to Janesel, a mute shepherd boy who was looking after a herd of sheeps in the woods.
Legend has it that the Madonna performed the miracle of restoring the shepherd boy's speech so he could order the inhabitants of the town of Bosentino to build a chapel for displaying an image of the Blessed Virgin.
