Already at the end of the nineteenth century it was a holiday destination for the first mountain goers and between the first and second world wars it became a resting and relaxation station for the people from Rovereto.
Serrada is a summer and winter holiday resort: it has hotels, residences and private apartments.
A four-seater chairlift directly connects the town center with the ski area of Folgaria and, in summer, with the Baita Tonda refuge (from which you can make excursions to Forte Dosso delle Somme, Passo Coe and Monte Maggio).

In the surroundings of Serrada various walks and excursions are possible: to the Forra del Lupo, on Mount Finonchio (F.lli Filzi refuge - 1600 m), on the top of Mount Maggio (1850 m), at Forte Dosso delle Somme (1600 m), to the Dosso di Santa Cristina and Guardia, the painted village.
Serrada Futurista
In summer Serrada offers the Serrada Futurista event, a week of art, music, entertainment and culture, all inspired by the futurism of Fortunato Depero.
