As the conflict continued, the space dedicated to the military graveyard expanded.
In the 30s after the exhumation of the cemeteries located nearby the front, the graveyard was enlarged occupying the actual parking.
Between 1971 and 1972, the internal area was reorganized. After the exhumation, the remains of 2500 Austro-Hungarian soldiers (750 unknown) were placed in four crypts, and along the perimeter cemetery monuments have been collected.

The graveyard is located in the centre of Folgaria, viale Trento, nearby the Church of San Lorenzo and the civil-military cemetery.
