A walk through the streets and hidden corners of Serrada, to discover the wall paintings that reproduce the works of Fortunato Depero, great master of Futurism, who in the Forties spent several periods of holiday in Serrada receiving stimuli and inspiration.
The great artist, like many people in Rovereto, had chosen Serrada to escape the summer heat of the city. He loved the place that hosted him very much and dedicated various works to it, now reproduced on the walls of Serrada's houses.
How to do this?
A beautiful illustrative map of the town of Serrada is useful and supportive, with the dislocation of the paintings marked. From the square of Serrada, after having admired the paintings (1 - 2 - 4 - 5), we go up towards the nearby Maso Schirni (painting 3) then, passing behind the church, we head towards Via C. Pavese (paintings 6 and 7) finally reaching the Filzi farm (paintings 8 - 9 - 10 - 11). From there, passing the provincial road coming from Folgaria, we go down to the Maso Forreri (painting 12) and go up towards the church and the square along Via F. Depero and passing by the Maso Bioncheri (painting 13), where the artist lived.
