The Ofentol Waterfall is an evocative waterfall hidden in a deep natural gorge, not far away from Guardia, “the painted hamlet”.
In summer it’s great to seat nearby the waterfall, refreshing yourself in the shadow of the wood and feeling the lightweight drops on your skin.
The spot is reachable from Guardia with a 15-minute walk, following the path that leads to Folgaria, passing through the Foresta della Gòn (the Gòn Forest).
In winter, the Ofentol Waterfall turns into an ice monument. From Christmas Day to New Year’s the trail from Guardia to Folgaria shines with thousands of lights and the Ofentol becomes a waterfall of lights and ice.
It’s really worth visiting: the sight is breathtaking.
