Alpe Cimbra and Trentino have a new testimonial: Ryan Cochran Siegle, champion of the US Ski Team

U.S. Ryan Cochran-Siegle, winner of the super-G in Bormio, or rather the one who triumphed and a few days later conquered the second place on the Saslong to restate his growth: a victory on one of the tracks that confirm the qualities of this great champion and that made him enter the Olympus of ski sprinters with full rights. He is the one whom the Alpe Cimbra Ski Area and Trentino have chosen as testimonial for this ski season.

The CEO of Trentino Marketing, Maurizio Rossini, states: “Trentino has been awarded as an excellent destination for the most prestigious national alpine skiing teams, for their athletes and technicians. The US ski team, since 2018, has chosen this ski area, finding optimal conditions for training but also that kind of welcoming atmosphere that only a destination that loves sport and competition can express at its best.
Thanks to the new partnership with the young talent Ryan Cochran-Siegle, we also expect important international visibility for Trentino and Alpe Cimbra".

The Alpe Cimbra ski area has had an ongoing relationship with the world of national and international competition for many years (this is confirmed by the events of the Male and Female European Cup, the Alpe Cimbra Fis Children Cup and by the fact that many national teams choose this ski area for their trainings every year), says Nicola Port, president of Alpe Cimbra tourism board, and to have such a remarkable champion like Ryan to represent our destination is a source of great pride and satisfaction.

For some years now, a partnership has been put in place between Alpe Cimbra, Trentino Marketing and the US Ski Team which sees the great American champions train on the slopes of the Trentino ski area in preparation for the World Cup events. A very important partnership which is also a reason for great acknowledgement of the technicality of the slopes and the excellent skills that the ski area puts in play to prepare them at best. But it is also representative of how much the hospitality of our mountain destination is able to create the right atmosphere of looseness and peacefulness which athletes need to perform their training in the best possible way. Not by chance in the past Lindsey Vonn, Mikaela Shiffrin, Alexis Pinturault, Clément Noël, and recently also Domik Paris, have chosen the Trentino location for their trainings.

Ryan was interviewed a few days ago during his training on the Salizzona slope and said he is very happy to be the testimonial of Alpe Cimbra and Trentino and he can train at best on our skiarea thanks to the best and perfectly-groomed slopes. Randy Pelkey, current trainer but also coach of a group of young people who take part in the World Cup, underlined how the relaxed atmosphere of the resort is ideal for the preparation before the cup races, and how delicious food and Trentino warm welcome are the perfect mix to arrive at the starting gate at best.

Ryan will show up at the gate of Kitzbühel with the name of Alpe Cimbra and Trentino on his helmet.
