On this impulse, the Trentino tourism companies ApT Trento Monte Bondone, Altopiano di Piné, ApT Rovereto Vallagarina e Monte Baldo and ApT Alpe Cimbra e Valsugana Lagorai have decided to undertake the path towards sustainability certification and, consequently, have created the first Sustainable Tourism District by obtaining the GSTC certification. The GSTC sustainability certification is an international standard that was born on input from the World Tourism Organization and guarantees a concrete and lasting impact. An ambitious goal to redefine and increase the organization of the tourism supply chain from various points of view: environmental, cultural, social and economic. This is essential for the involvement of the entire local system and the sharing of these values ​​with visitors and operators.
