Drago Vaia Regeneration

THE BIRTH OF THE DRAGO VAIA REGENERATION

From the ashes of the Drago Vaia, a new dragon has returned to Lavarone!
With its imposing dimensions of 6 tons of burned wood, 16 meters in length and 7 in height, this wooden sculpture is the largest dragon sculpture in the world.
Created by the sculptor Marco Martalar, using the roots of the Vaia storm, the new dragon carries with it the memory of the event that affected its predecessor. The pieces of wood, completely charred, were intentionally burned by the artist and, along with the remains of the fire, reconstruct the new creation.

THE WORK OF DRAGO VAIA REGENERATION

Masterfully created by artist Marco Martalar, this sculpture is composed of more than 3000 pieces of roots from trees felled by the Vaia storm and over 3000 vines.
Unlike the previous Dragon, this new work has a stronger and more powerful connotation, as it has to convey a different message.
The Drago Vaia Regeneration is not just a guardian warning about the relationship between humans and nature, but also becomes a custodian of memory and stories, a symbol of rebirth and resilience. A reminder to remember the importance of staying humble in the face of mother nature's power.
