In a karst territory springs are not abundant and in the silvopastoral economy of the mountain every source of water is precious, so more so in times gone by. Therefore, much care has always been dedicated to the fountains and spontaneous sources on Alpe Cimbra. The Sentiero delle Sorgenti is dedicated to them.
It is an easy route to follow, suitable for everyone, even families with children +6 years.
It retraces the rural road that belonged to the "vacaroti" (cow guardians) who took the animals to water.
Along the way you will encounter six springs of clear water and fountains rich in history.
Illustrative panels also describe the medicinal plants present in the area, used for the preparation of ointments and remedies typical of the mountain tradition.
