20.06.2018 - Il paese si trova al confine centro-meridionale di un grande alpeggio, da dove si raggiungono in breve Folgaria e Lavarone. Da qui si sale al Passo di Vezzena (1402 m s.l.m.) e, attraverso la stretta forcella della Val d’Assa, si arriva all’Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, il più noto dei quali è Asiago. Luserna rappresenta l’ultima isola dove il cimbro, antico dialetto bavarese, è parlato dalla quasi totalità della popolazione. Oltre alla lingua, gli abitanti tengono in vita le tradizioni dell’artigianato e - grazie a nove ristoranti che offrono cucina locale - della gastronomia.
Tre sentieri tematici intrecciano storia, arte e natura per chi ama passeggiare in montagna. “Sulle tracce dell’Orso” (Nå in tritt von Per nel dialetto di Lusérn) è il nome del percorso storico-naturalistico che si affianca al “Sentiero Cimbro dell’Immaginario” (Nå in tritt von Sambinélo) che dissemina i suoi sei chilometri di sculture in legno e bacheche per raccontare la leggenda della Frau Pertega. Il sentiero “Dalle storie alla Storia” porta dalla piazza del borgo al Forte Werk Lusérn (chiamato dai locali “Padre Eterno “), dove silhouette in metallo e cotto illustrano storie legate ai due conflitti mondiali. Nel nucleo storico di Luserna, il territorio è narrato attraverso la Casa museo Haus von Prükk, nata dal restauro conservativo di un’antica dimora contadina cimbra dell’Ottocento, e il Centro documentazione, presso il quale si trova anche la mostra dedicata al Merletto a fuselli. Quest’ultima eccellenza cimbra risale al 1883, quando il Ministero dell’istruzione di Vienna istituì una Scuola professionale triennale per formare le ragazze a questa arte. Oggi l’eredità dell’istituto è raccolta dall’Associazione Culturale Merletto di Luserna (Khnöpplspitz vo Lusérn), impegnata a custodire e valorizzare la produzione del merletto.
The house of Cimbrian people
In the heart of Alpe Cimbra, in Trentino, the village of Lusérn is immersed in the quiet beauty of the mountain. Its inhabitants still speak the ancient language of these valleys, the Cimbrian (Cimbro in Italian). Many appointments in summer to discover a place linked to traditions and nature.
Lusérn represents the last island where the Cimbrian, an ancient Bavarian dialect, is still spoken by almost all of the population. In addition to language, the inhabitants keep alive the craft traditions and - thanks to nine restaurants offering local cuisine - gastronomy. Three thematic paths intertwined history, art and nature for those who love walking in the mountains: On the tracks of the Bear, the Cimbrian Trail of Imagination and From Stories to History. In the historic core of Lusérn the territory is narrated through the House Museum Haus von Prükk, born from the restoration of an ancient Cimbrian peasant dwelling of the Nineteenth Century, and the documentation center, near which you can also find the exhibition dedicated to the bobbin lace.

La mostra annuale del Centro è dedicata al lupo, che negli ultimi anni sta facendo un lento ma graduale ritorno negli altipiani cimbri. Il percorso è introdotto da un grande diorama e arricchito da filmati, interviste e una mostra fotografica messa a disposizione dal biologo Matteo Luciani.

The annual exhibition of the Center is dedicated to the wolf, which in recent years has been doing a slow but gradual return in Cimbrian highlands. The path is introduced by a large diorama and enriched by films, interviews and a photo exhibition made available by the biologist Matteo Luciani.

Giunta alla XXII edizione, la Marcia Popolare Cimbra (Lusernar Vairta) è aperta a tutti, anche alle famiglie. Si svolge lungo due percorsi, chiamati Sulle tracce dell’Orso e Sentiero Cimbro dell’Immaginario, con partenza alle ore 9 da Piazza Marconi. Alla fine della corsa verrà consegnato il trofeo del Vichingo Cimbro. La corsa si svolgerà anche in caso di maltempo.

Reached the XXII edition, the Cimbrian Popular Foot Race (Lusernar Vairta) is open to all, also for families. Develops along two paths, called On the tracks of the Bear and Cimbrian Trail of Imagination, with departure at 9 a.m. from Piazza Marconi. At the end of the race, the winner will be awarded with the Cimbrian Viking Trophy. The race will take place also in the case of bad weather.
